Understand Devil n Dove sale channels and marketplace links

Some Devil n Dove items are sold directly here, some are hybrid-listed, and some are easier to sell on Facebook Marketplace or another venue. This page explains how we keep those differences visible.

How to read our listings

On-site listings

These are sold directly on Devil n Dove and should show clear price, stock, shipping or pickup notes, and maker or condition context.

Hybrid listings

These can stay visible on Devil n Dove while also linking to an outside listing. This helps when an item also lives on a marketplace or another vending location.

External-only listings

These are shown for discovery and context, but the purchase itself happens on another platform or through direct contact.

Condition-first honesty

For vintage, collectible, and found items, we want wear, patina, repairs, missing pieces, testing notes, and unknowns to stay visible instead of hiding inside decorative copy.

Marketplace channels

Facebook Marketplace, local vending, and other outside channels can be useful for larger items, pickup-friendly pieces, old tools, curiosities, and one-off finds that are easier to explain in a direct listing or local conversation.

  • Use the product detail page first to understand origin, condition, era, and sourcing notes.
  • Use the external listing button when the item is marked hybrid or external-only.
  • Use Contact when you need clarity on pickup, availability, or whether a listing is still active.

Pickup, support, and local questions

We are based in Southern Ontario, Canada. That means some buyers are local enough to ask about pickup, viewing, or timing before they commit to a purchase. We would rather have those questions asked early than leave uncertainty about channel, travel, or packaging.

Handmade work

Handmade items should point shoppers back to process, materials, and the wider workshop story.

Vintage & collectible stock

Found items should show provenance clues, era notes, and condition summaries before a buyer follows any outside link.
