Understand local pickup, availability, and support before checkout

Some items are easier to ship, some are better handled through local pickup, and some external or hybrid listings need one more conversation before a buyer commits.

Ask early

If an item needs local pickup, special packaging, or extra condition clarification, we would rather answer that before payment than leave uncertainty until checkout.

Channel clarity matters

Hybrid and external-only listings may need availability confirmation because they can also be shown on Facebook Marketplace or another sales channel.

Condition-first honesty

Vintage, collectible, antique, and tool listings should keep wear, patina, unknowns, and missing pieces visible so pickup conversations stay honest.

When pickup makes sense

  • Larger or heavier objects
  • Fragile curiosities or display pieces
  • Vintage tools or oddities with lots of questions
  • Local buyers comparing handmade and found stock in person

What to confirm

  • Is the item still available?
  • Is it sold directly on Devil n Dove or through another listing?
  • Is it ready now or part of a custom / made-to-order timeline?
  • Does the condition summary raise any questions you want answered first?
